Parts and Service to Continue Until Acceptable Alternatives Available

In late 2002, we made the decision to enter the Agricultural equipment business with the Challenger brand of farm machinery from AGCO, and in 2006 formed the Wheeler Ag Division. While the Ag business has been an enjoyable challenge for our company, it has become clear that it is not a viable business for us in light of our long-term business goals. As a result, we will discontinue selling new Agricultural equipment as of February 5, 2010.

We remain committed to serving you with the same excellent parts and service support for the Ag equipment you have purchased from us. We will gradually phase out our product support activities over time as acceptable parts and service alternatives become available. Further information on our Ag product support phase-out plans will be communicated over the coming months. In the meantime, please continue to call our branch stores for your parts and service needs. If you have a Challenger machine on order for future delivery, you have the option to still receive that machine when it is ready. If you would prefer, AGCO will make every effort to deliver you an equivalent Massey Ferguson-branded model from another local AGCO dealer at the same price and delivery date. If you have other brands of equipment on order for future delivery, we will fulfill those orders if that is your desire. We will contact all customers with equipment on order in the coming days to determine what direction you would like to take with your orders.

Our decision to discontinue our Ag business has come after much analysis and deliberation.  It was not the decision we had hoped to make. It is, however, the right decision for our company over the long term.
